4th Grade Fly Fishing elective with Mr. Soinila.
Mr. Boyle and Mr. Mendenhall joined the fun today, teaching students how to tie a “Woolley Bugger “, cast a fly rod, and research more about the sport. Love that Mr. Soinila is sharing his knowledge and passion with our students!!
*all of the 4th graders will have the opportunity to experience fly fishing before the end of the year.

  • Mon- Fox in Socks- Wear crazy socks
  • Tue- Green Eggs and Ham- Wear green
  • Wed- Cat in the Hat- Wear a hat
  • Thur- My Many Colored Days- Wear as many colors as you can (tie dye, rainbow)
  • Fri- There’s A Wocket in my Pocket- Wear pockets and bring your “Wocket” (stuffed animal)

In addition to our outstanding staff, excellent test scores and low class sizes, Evergreen Elementary offers music and physical education to all students; a supportive and generous community; and most importantly, outstanding students.

We have an exciting year planned for your students.  We are in our 2nd full year of implementing the Common Core State Standards at all grade levels.  These standards, and the amazing staff at Evergreen, will help to prepare your child for the high demands of college and careers of today. Along with rigorous foundational Math and Reading skills, all of our students will develop strong writing, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and creative skills.
